Wednesday, April 30, 2008 -- 10:05 AM   This is not one of my better days -- or weeks. I don't know why, but I've been feeling angry most of this time. My anger is not directed at any particular person or thing, but it is there nonetheless.   Although there are not too many things going on in my life right now, the few things that are happening have begun to get on my nerves. Nothing seems to be going quite right, and when that happens, I get upset. It can even be the tiniest of things, something so inconsequential that most people would not give it a second thought.   An example of what I'm trying to say would be something like this, the lack of headway on getting in touch with someone from Freedom Service Dogs. I know it is a nonprofit organization, probably a small one, and it uses mainly volunteers. I have called three times to try and talk with someone who works there. Each time I call, I get voicemail. I have sent an e-mail (last week) explaining in explicit terms my situation, including why I think one of their service dogs would be a benefit to me. As of this morning, I have not received any kind of response from either my calls or my e-mail.   My sister says there are other agencies such as this, and that they are listed in one of the magazines that she gave me. That may be true, but she gave me a pile of various types of publications, which I do not feel like going through. My energy level is lower than usual. I suspect this is due to an increase in my depression. The material she gave me is scattered throughout two of my rooms, and I do not feel like dealing with it at this time.   This week, I am also dealing with the unexpected loss of one CNA who was replaced with another. My first impression with this new CNA was a good one, but first impressions do not always show the real thing. While I still think this CNA is good, I have learned that her mother is the Director of Nursing with the home health care agency that I use. I would prefer not to have someone working with me who has ties that closely with the agency. It makes me feel that I cannot talk openly without fear that whatever I say may go directly back to her mother. If, and when, that occurs, it is clearly a violation of the terms of confidentiality. Even so, I doubt if anyone at that agency cares.   I have this "gut" feeling that almost everyone from the agency is being nice to me in order to find out whether I intend to sue the company for its part in the accident that I had before Christmas.   All of these things, and more, are making me very angry. This is not good for me, but I just cannot close my eyes to everything that is occurring. My feelings will not go away that easily.   Quotes for Success:   “Life's real failure is when you do not realize how close you were to success when you gave up.”   Anonymous

Those are a lot of things to feel ill at ease about. And would make a person tired in the process. All I can send is Weeble hugs and Mojo.
