Sunday, April 13, 2008 -- 9:25 AM   My apartment was filled with several women this morning. Each of them was here from the home health care agency that helps me. It is not every day that I am surrounded by women, and this may have been a real treat had it not been for the fact that they began arriving at 7:30 AM, which is shortly after I am just awakened in the morning. By that time of day, my eyes are barely opened.    Two of the women were young enough for me to look at, while the remaining two were no "Spring chickens," as my dad used to say. He also used to say that he was "never too old to look," and I guess that applies to me as well.    Three of them were CNAs, two of whom help me on the weekends. The third one has been working with me for several months. She is quitting to be a nurse. The fourth person is a nurse who thinks she is a supervisor. I do not consider her to be either one of those, but I will not say exactly what I think she should be called.    I had a good day yesterday. I was online for a while, and then decided to watch some videos, which had been here for quite some time. I have one more video left to watch this morning. I am trying to vary my usual activities in order to get some rest.   Today I need to get some prescriptions filled, and schedule some rides to various appointments later in the week. Both of these are time-consuming chores, which I do not look forward to doing, but which have to be done today.   Quotes for Success:   “Health, happiness and success depend upon the fighting spirit of each person. The big thing is not what happens to us in life - but what we do about what happens to us.”   George Allen
