Monday, April 7, 2008 -- 10:20 AM I am still having trouble sleeping at night. When I got up this morning, it felt as though I had hardly slept a wink. I think part of the problem is because I am doing too much during the week, and that is causing me to feel stressed. The stomach problem I had during the weekend seems to be better today. I finally have a healthy appetite. Part of the problem could be that I am eating too much of the wrong things. I had planned on going to get some medicine today, but decided to put that off for a while. The trip itself was going to cost more than the actual amount of the medicine. Since my sister lives closer to that drugstore than I do, I am planning on asking her to get the medicine for me and I will get it from her when I see her next week. I have enough of the medication to last that long. Thursday morning I will be seeing my primary care physician. This will just be a follow-up visit to the last one, which I had two months ago. The main thing I plan on discussing with him will be concerning the amount of pain I am still having since I had that accident back in December. It has been almost four months since then, and I am growing concerned because I am still having the pain and discomfort. The physical therapy, along with the pain medication, is helping, but I do not want to rely on that forever. I am scheduled to see my orthopedic surgeon next week. It is my understanding that my physical therapist is going to recommend that I start receiving passive range of motion therapy here at home. I am not too keen on that idea, but if that is what my doctors feel I should have, I suspect that I will probably go along with it.
