Thursday, April 3, 2008 -- 10:20 AM I think my lack of sleep is starting to get to me. I am quickly starting to get the days and dates mixed up on my journal entries. I have spent a small amount of time this morning going back and making corrections on some of my entries. Yesterday turned out to be a waste of my time and money. I went to see my psychologist at 11:30 AM. I had been there for about thirty-five minutes when her partner walked into the waiting room. We looked at each other, and then I explained that I had been there waiting for her partner who had not shown up. She asked me to wait a few minutes while she checked things out. Upon her return, she said my appointment had been for 1:30 in the afternoon. Since my ride had been scheduled to pick me up at 12:30, I told her that I could not wait another hour. I said that I would e-mail my psychologist later in the day. Not only had I wasted my time going there, but also my round-trip ride had cost me seven dollars for nothing. Then the bus that took me home seemed to stop at every location in the city before finally dropping me off. By that time, I was fit to be tied, and wanted nothing more than to take a short nap, which I did not get because I was still having problems sleeping. I did manage to write a short journal entry yesterday. I have not had a chance this morning to reread it and see if anything that I wrote made sense. This morning I am very tired and feel somewhat down. I am going to make one brief attempt at getting a short snooze. I am hopeful this will not be an effort in futility. Ugh... I had a spell of this last year, went to people on the wrong day, didn\'t go at all because I wrote it down for the wrong day. And it can be due to lack of sleep. Can you take a calcium-magnesium supplement with dinner? That helps a lot of us in my other communities with sleep.
Weeble hugs and Mojo Jim.
I do not know if I can take a calcium-magnesium supplement, but I think I have a doctors appointment next Friday, and I will ask him about it at that time. I sure hope that I have the date and time right.
Thanks for your concern,
Jim (yawning)
One of the things I take for sleep is Melatonin.
I buy it at Cvs drugs.
Supposedly it has no side effects.
It is a natural herb, I believe.
I can see why you were down yesterday.
What a mess you had with your transportation and appointment situation.
Hope things work out for your Doctor\'s appt.
next Friday.
You journal made perfect sense yesterday.
