Monday, March 31, 2008 -- 10:45 AM   Somebody stole something from me.   It is very vital and important to my health.  It is SLEEP!   Of all the things, they could have taken from me, why did they have to take this?  Without my sleep, I am usually in an extremely bad mood.  I have not reached that point today, but I am getting very close to it.   With all the pain I am having in my legs and back, I really need my sleep.  I will gladly make a trade with the lousy culprits who unkindly took my sleep.  Bring it back to me, and you can have all of my pain.   After getting up yesterday morning, I was so sleepy that I needed toothpicks to keep my eyelids open.  I tried to get a snooze in, but that did not work.  I took some muscle relaxers, which usually help me sleep.  That turned out to be a waste of time because they did not help.  I took a few more, figuring that if one or two usually helped, that three or four would make this a sure thing.  I was wrong.  I added a pain pill to go along with the muscle relaxers, and even that was a failure.  By that time, I decided that I had taken enough medication that it would probably kill me if it started working at all.   Today I can barely function.  It was another sleepless night.  Now that I am up and moving around, I am sleepy!  In a few minutes, I am going to attempt to close my eyes for an hour or two.   Let us see, there was something else I wanted to mention, but I am too sleepy to remember exactly what that was about.  I think it had something to do with cats.  If I do not remember that today, will somebody please remind me sometime tomorrow?   Quotes for Success:   “My list of ingredients for success is divided into four basic groups: Inward, Outward, Upward and Onward.”   David Thomas
