Sunday, March 30, 2008 -- 3:35 PM UPDATE This has not been one of the best days I have ever had in my life. Last night, I watched an auto race on TV, which was followed by a Texas Hold ‘Em poker game. (I always try to watch them on Saturday nights.) I watched that for about two hours, and almost turned the TV off just when another's episode of it came on. Since I knew that I did not have anything special to do today, I decided "what the heck, I might as well watch another one." That lasted for another two hours. When that one was over, my eyelids started drooping. By then it was two o'clock, so I decided to turn off the TV and try to get some sleep. The pain in both of my legs started acting up again, so sleep was hard to come by. It came in spurts. The CNAs who helped me in the mornings arrived at eight o'clock. By some stroke of genius -- NOT -- the person in charge of staffing with my home health care agency had somehow managed to send too many people here. (As I said last week, there were so many people here that we could have had our own poker game.) I have been feeling tired and out of sorts today. Staying up so late may have had something to do with that. I tried napping for a while this morning, but sleep would not come to me. I took some muscle relaxers because I knew they usually relaxed me enough to enable me to sleep. Even those did not help me today. My regular morning CNA informed me today that she was considering not working on Sunday mornings. I will hate to lose her even though it will only be for part of one day each week, but she does work hard and deserve some rest. I already know the two people who would replace her, and they are quite acceptable to me. Quotes for Success: “I believe the greater the handicap, the greater the triumph.” John H. Johnson

Ugh... the sleep thing. Weeble hugs and Mojo...
I can\'t exactly say that I stay up past my bedtime. I mean, I\'m already in bed. How about saying I stay awake past my sleeping time? LOL
Saturday night was poker night, and Sunday night was Cops night. Each night is different.
As for sleep, what\'s that?
