Yesterday I went to get my wheelchair repaired.  The agency that provides my transportation, sent one of their buses to bring me home, but it got there approximately two hours ahead of time. The bus driver said that when I was ready to leave someone needed to call their agency, so that another bus could be sent for me. When the work was completed on my chair, and I was ready to leave, I realized that I would have to get someone to make a phone call for me in order for me to get a ride.  I asked the receptionist for her help, and she was more than willing.  The agency that was called promised to have someone there within ten minutes.  Of course, I knew that would never happen, and I was right.  I wound up asking the receptionist to make a second call for me.  The agency said that the first driver had been unable to find where the store was located.  The receptionist told the dispatcher exactly how to get there.  I was finally picked up within fifteen minutes.   I still do not like asking other people for help, but there are times when I have no other option but to do so.
