Today I started seeing another therapist (Dale) at my mental health clinic. He was the one I first saw when I started going to the clinic almost two years ago. At that time, after I had been seeing him for a couple of months, they learned that I had a drug problem and I was switched to something called the Aquarius Program. That is for the people who have substance abuse and alcohol problems. I was told today that I am not in that program and have been placed in the Outpatient Department. I think that I will get much more help fighting my depression this way. Dale did tell me that if I started thinking about drugs a lot, they wanted me to let them know. He said that I had been going to the clinic longer than most people had, but all of the staff members had been afraid that I was going to be killed by my use of drugs, which is why they are still letting me go there. Dale said that he thought I had a certain amount of anger built up within me. He gave me some material to read on Anger Management before I see him in two and a half weeks. I came away from my hour-long session feeling better than I did when I went to it. This afternoon I have practically gone crazy trying to get my browser to work. I use Firefox. I have heard that someone at the home health care agency I use has also been having trouble with it today, so I am hopeful that it is just something wrong with the program and not with my computer.
