There have been times when I thought this day would never come, but during the past week, I was able to wear the shoe on my left foot, which was hurt before Christmas.  I somehow managed to wear the shoe for two and a half days.  I consider that a milestone for me.   I am glad that yesterday is over and done with.  I had to contend with more pain than I usually have in weeks.  Most of it was located in my left leg, which was hurt at Christmas time.  I also had a lot of pain in my back.  I do not know why, but the pain medicine I take did not seem to have much effect.   My psychologist wants a copy of my journal entries, so I spent the better part of yesterday copying and pasting them into an e-mail for her.  I find it to be time-consuming and a bit stressful.  In preparing all that for her, I wound up rereading a lot of old entries -- some of which I found to be humorous, and some of it to be depressing.  I also saw that my writing style had changed during that time.  I am not sure if that was good or bad.   I will be spending part of the day working on those entries again.  I also plan on finishing a book that I have been reading for more than a week (it is a very disappointing mystery book by one of my favorite authors), and I have some videos to watch.  I have plenty of things to do this weekend.   Quotes for Goals:   “The goal you set must be challenging. At the same time, it should be realistic and attainable, not impossible to reach. It should be challenging enough to make you stretch, but not so far that you break.”   Rick Hansen
