I am not feeling good today. Even though I had some physical therapy yesterday, the pain has returned to my left leg and hip with a vengeance. I was planning on going out today and running some errands, which I have managed to put off for almost a month. When the pain hit this morning, I took some medicine, but that does not seem to be working as well as it usually does. Because of that, I decided not to go anywhere but to do as much as I could online instead. While I have felt very good for the last couple of weeks, everything changed today. My mood has really taken a nosedive. For the most part, I just feel tired and worn out. I have kept four appointments during the past week. Next week I am planning on going out five days (that includes Easter Sunday), so I expect to be worn-out by the end of the week. In looking at my calendar, it appears that the week after next will be an easier one. I only have three appointments then. Two of my CNAs are leaving, and I will be getting two new ones. The worry over that might be part of my problem. I am not fond of making changes, especially when I am used to the same people coming all the time. I cannot blame the home health care agency for all of this, since I did request that one of the people be replaced. It looks as though I am going to my sister's house on Easter Day. She called last night and told me that she and her daughter had talked things over and decided to have a get-together on Easter morning starting at ten o'clock. I am not sure that I am up to another run-in with my sister's boyfriend. I might be happier going there if he just disappeared from the picture altogether. Quotes for Goals: “Aim for the top. Even not depressed people can have \'nosedive days\' Jim. I think it\'s just part of life. Don\'t dismiss it, but don\'t put it all in the depression basket either. Weeble hugs and Mojo.
It is very, very hard to do just about anything when you are in so much pain.
So sorry to hear about your left leg and hip situation.
I hope the pain lessens soon. I am sure you will find you mood lifting as well.
I know you take care of yourself, you deserve the very best.
