We have been lucky so far.  The five to ten inches of snow that had been predicted for last night did not quite manage to reach my part of town.  We might have gotten one or two inches, and they are still calling for a possible one to three additional.  When I was a child, I liked snow.  Now that I am an adult, it is still nice to look at, but I do not enjoy being in it.   I went through the usual struggle with my CNA (Lois) last night.  The other CNA (Renée) asked her for help in getting me positioned properly in bed, but Lois said she did not have the strength.  I looked at Renée's face, and could see that she was clearly ticked off.  When Lois left, she did not give me my telephone, so that I could use it in case of an emergency.  That was a BIG mistake on her part, which I reported to my home health care nurse this morning.  I plan on making a formal complaint against Lois either later today or sometime tomorrow.  It isn't really that I don't like her, but mainly that I don't feel safe with her helping me.   I don't have all that much to say this morning.  Maybe I will come up with something brilliant to comment on later in the day.  Until then, that's all for now.
