Thanks to everyone who left comments to me on my journal entries.  Believe it or not, reading the way you feel really does help me.  If nothing else, it helps me see whether others feel that I am on the right track.  When I do not get that feeling, I know it is time to look backwards and try to ascertain what I have done wrong, and how it can be corrected.   Yesterday morning I went to my doctor's office and retrieved the written prescription for medicine that I needed to help alleviate the pain I have been having in my legs.  It took about twenty minutes to get there, and two minutes to get the prescription.  Then I had to wait another hour and a half for my ride to get there and bring me home.  Of course, I had to wait quite a while since the bus driver had to drop off people and pick up others on the way.  That took another hour.   Last night, Lois (the CNA I described as being lazy, stupid, and incompetent) arrived at my apartment a little bit early.  She sat on my couch and did nothing, a repeat of exactly what she has done before this.  When Renée (the good CNA) finally showed up, she saw that Lois was just sitting there, and I could tell from the look on her face that she was already disgusted with her.   The three of us went back to my bedroom where I smiled, and then told them that I had not been pleased with the way in which they had put me to bed the night before.  I said that my left shoulder had been hurting ever since I had been "slammed" onto the mattress of the bed.  I said that I had not made a formal complaint to their office, but that I would do so if it happened a second time.   Lois then took three pillows and placed them side-by-side on my bed.  She said they were to provide padding "so that you won't hurt yourself again."  I looked at her and said that I had not hurt myself the night before -- she did.   The transfer to my bed went better, although not without problems.  I landed on the edge of the bed just as I had the previous night.  Lois then tried telling on me how she thought it was too difficult to get me positioned into the middle of the bed.  I said that I found that strange considering that none of the previous people who had helped me felt that way.  She kept rattling on and on until René finally told her, "I don't have any idea what you're talking about."  I looked at Lois and said, "Neither do I."   I was thoroughly happy to see Lois leave my apartment.  I am almost hoping that she will make another bad mistake tonight so that I can report her on Monday.   This morning I updated my profile -- again.  I decided that it was unnecessary for me to include everything in it explaining my disability.  Anyone with questions can either read my previous journal entries, or contact me through messages.   Quotes for Goals:   “This one step - choosing a goal and sticking to it - changes everything.”   Scott Reed
