Many thanks to those who gave me kind words of encouragement and support in the comments left following my journal entry yesterday. I spent much of the day trying to figure out what I had done wrong, and what I could do to correct it. The truth of the matter is that I think I have been open and honest ever since I first joined this site. It is true that there have been things that happened to me in my life, about which I have not yet spoken. Those events have caused me to have much pain, sorrow, and sadness throughout a lot of my life. At times, the remembrances of them have almost driven me to the point where I preferred death to life. Although I have come a long way in the past year, I fully realize that I still have a long way to go in my process of healing. Until recently, I felt that most of the people I know here were aware that I am disabled and had to use a motorized wheelchair. I also thought that my true friends would not let that stand in the way of our friendships. If I was wrong, I really wish that someone would let me know.
