This is not one of my better days. I am very depressed about a few things, but it does not take many to make me feel badly. My sister called yesterday and we talked about several things. During our conversation, I told her that I was depressed, and hoped that my psychologist would be able to help me. My sister kind of brushed it off, saying that depression "runs in our family." I felt that she was trying to tell me to forget about it and that it was not important. It may not be important to her, but it is to me. Last night, I received an e-mail from my favorite jazz radio station, which I listen to almost every day. It was informing me that the station was going off the air as of yesterday due to a lack of income. The e-mail went on to say the station could still be heard by the use of another kind of radio. I did a short and quick scan to see what type of radio they were talking about, and learned that it costs around $200. That is a lot of money for me, but since listening to jazz is one of my main forms of relaxation, getting that type of radio might be a good investment sometime in the future. I need to do more research on it. I just received a phone call from my sister who sounds like she is more depressed than I am. She said she is going to go get a new wheelchair part for my chair, which I ordered two months ago. I don't know if the company still has it, but did not tell my sister that. She has been putting off getting the part for more than a month, so I do not feel that it is my responsibility to make sure the company still has it.
