9:40 AM – M.S.T.   Yesterday, I was in a horrible mood for most of the day and night.  Tomorrow afternoon, I am scheduled to see an orthopedic surgeon who I have never met before.  This is scaring the daylights out of me because I am afraid that she will want me to have either an MRI, or surgery, or both on my legs.   I was awake for most of last night.  The pain in both of my legs has increased a lot, and now it is almost unbearable.  I do not know what is causing this, and it could be that this lack of knowledge is contributing to my mood and my depression.   I was unable to arrange for a ride to this clinic until this morning.  All of their phone lines were tied up yesterday.  Technically, I am supposed to make a reservation for a ride three days in advance of when I need to be somewhere.  When I finally got through to the transportation agency this morning, they somehow managed to get the information I gave them confused.  That caused them to take down the address incorrectly.  I hope that situation has now been rectified.   The paperwork that the clinic sent me to complete, is still sitting on my kitchen table untouched.  I will have to do that this afternoon.   In addition to these problems, I am a now battling a sore throat and cold.  I feel like rescheduling this appointment, but realize that I need to get this over and done with as soon as possible.   Quotes for Happiness:   “Happiness is the art of never holding in your mind the memory of any unpleasant thing that has passed.”   Anonymous
