I have gotten behind on making my entries for this goal. Although it is 8:30 PM on Friday night, I'm going to write a brief entry about a couple things that I did this week. Monday night I attended my weekly session of the Relapse Prevention Group at the mental health clinic where I go.  It was a good meeting, and I came away from it with more knowledge than I had when I went to it.  I did not really want to go there, but I went because I knew that I would probably benefit from something at the meeting. On Wednesday I went to downtown Denver.  More specifically, I went to my bank.  When I went to cash a check, I somehow managed to drop the cash I was given.  Ironically, this turned out to be good.  By doing this, I had two choices; either leave the money on the floor for someone else, or ask someone to get it for me.  Since I am no dummy, I did the latter. On both of these days I took part in, and sometimes initiated, conversations with other people.  This, in turn, helped to increase my self-confidence, which made me feel better about myself.
