This is the second week in a row that I have managed to see my mental health therapists. To me, it is the same as asking people to help me, which I do not like to do. Nevertheless, I feel that it is important for me to at least be able to do this as a part of beginning to like myself. I have always blamed myself for the abuse I sustained as a child. Part of my mind now realizes that it was not my fault. I need to continue working on this goal because it is important for me not to blame myself for any of what occurred. Throughout my adult life, I have always disliked myself for being disabled. Intellectually, I know that thinking this way is unrealistic, but emotionally, I am still at the point where I hate myself. I need to change my feelings about this, but do not know how.
