2:10 PM – M.S.T. In less than an hour, I will be going to a birthday party for one of my nephews. I have not really been in the mood to go anywhere this weekend, so I was hoping for several inches of snow, which would provide me with an excuse for not going anywhere. I got part of my wish, but not enough of it. We were supposed to have snow showers last night. The snow came, and for a while, it came down heavily. It was one of those freak snows because it was accompanied by lightning and thunder. We may have gotten a little more than an inch of snow last night, barely enough to fill a shot glass. My nurse showed up at about 9:15 last night. She came here to show my CNAs how to do some work with me. She was here almost an hour early, which gave me some time to talk with her regarding some of my discontent with my new CNA. I told her that the girl did not seem to know much about what she was doing, but that I would be willing to work with her for a while as long as she kept improving. The nurse did thank me for making that offer. During the fall, my niece's husband was experiencing some growing discontent with the company for which he was working. He was offered a much better job, with less hours and higher pay at the new company. He turned it down after the company he was working with learned that he might change jobs. That company then offered him a different position and higher pay. Despite my warnings, he accepted the offer. I tried to tell him that sooner or later the company would get rid of him as a form of spite. Yesterday afternoon I learned that the company he is with is laying him off as a March 1. Since he is going into the hospital for an operation next Tuesday, everything seems to be happening all at one time, and his life is turning into a mess. He is married to my niece and they have two children. I am very concerned about all of them. My computer has been acting up somewhat, and I am not very happy with it today. The screensaver does not come on as it should, and last night the computer stayed lit up throughout the night. Additionally, when I got up this morning and looked at the computer screen, I saw that a lot of my desktop icons seemed to be in different places. Today I put everything back where it was supposed to have been, but could not help wondering if the mice came out last night and played with my computer. Hmmmm... sounds like someone changed the resolution on your screen and didn\'t put it back.
I hope the party goes well, and something good comes along for your niece\'s husband.
Weeble hugs and Mojo.
maybe just getting out is what you need ... sometimes how much we don\'t want to go ... we\'re surprised how much we needed to be around others... hope it goes well hugs
