1:45 P.M. – M.S.T. I am not in a good mood today. Nothing seems to be going right, and when that happens, I tend to get angry with almost everyone. This afternoon I called to schedule a ride to my mental health clinic on Monday. As my luck would have it, I was told that the company was having "computer glitches" and that I needed to call back either tomorrow or Sunday. To me, this sounds like a bad omen. I am beginning to doubt that I will ever be able to get there next week. The pain in my left leg, right knee, and my back is increasing almost weekly. There are times when I wake up in the middle of the night because there is so much pain that it is almost too much to bear. Fortunately, I am seeing my doctor next Friday. I have a new CNA who has only been working at her job for less than one year. She does not seem to know what she is doing and that is causing me some problems. Another CNA works with her, and she seems to be doing her best to try and show the new one what to do. There is some specific work that needs to be done, which neither of them knows how to do nor do they want to do it. I could call their agency and make a complaint, but I have been getting along so well with the people there that I am very reluctant to do that. Tomorrow I am going to a birthday party at my sister’s house. This afternoon I called to tell her what time I would be there. She was not in a very good mood. She said there had been no need for me to call her since she knew about what time to expect me. I told her that the "man" she has been dating told me to call and tell them before I went to her house. My sister was very upset with that and said that he had no right to try and tell me what to do. I tried to sooth things over by telling her that I did not listen to him anyhow. Sigh.....this crap is just ongoing isn\'t it? No worries Jim. It\'s the end of the week and hopefully next week will be more productive as far as getting things worked out. Have a good time at the birthday party and feel free to throw cake at \"the man\". hee hee
xoxoxo
Throwing cake? Can I um, get in the way? Will it be chocolate?
Maybe explain to the agency that the CNAs may need some training to build their confidence? Maybe that\'s all they really need, maybe they really have anxiety about doing the whatever it is, and it comes out as unwillingness and snarkiness.
Weeble hugs and Mojo, and have a good time at your sister\'s, as best you can.
Er, Karen. Since it\'s Jill\'s cake, you better talk to her about you getting in the way.
Maybe you will like this better. Yesterday I bought a frozen banana cream pie. Tasted good tonight, but would have been better if it had been thawed out! LOL
Ouch! Teeth!
I thought that Jill thought YOU would be where the cake was.
I think I better quit thinkin\'. LOL!
You might be right about that. Maybe I overlooked something. It may be that I became so overwhelmed at thinking about \"the man\" being there that I became totally confused.
By the way, in my book he is also known as \"the jerk.\" If you can think of a worse name than that, which can be printed here without my being thrown off the website, please feel free to use it.
hope ypu feel better and have a good time at the party tomorrow hugs-Stephanie
Stephanie, thank you for your concern. I am sure that given enough time I will feel better. The birthday party tomorrow is for my nephew. After the food and cake, I am out of there. I cannot put up with my sister\'s jerk of a boyfriend any longer than that!
Hmmm... take that secret slice of cake you were going to smuggle out for ME and give that guy a facial!
