11:20 A.M.
I did not sleep too well last night. After going to bed, my stomach started feeling funny and filled with gas, which I tried to burp up. Shortly thereafter, I started vomiting a little. Since my CNAs had already left, there was nothing I could do but to try to push that part of the sheets and blankets aside until morning. As if that were not enough, sometime during the night an extreme amount of pain hit my left leg. There was nothing I could do to stop that. All in all, the night was a bummer!
Today I am doing grocery shopping via my sister. My CNA and I made a grocery list last night and I read the items to my sister over the phone this morning. She said she would pick up some medicine for me along with the grocery items and bring it all here this afternoon. That will save me the need to have to go out in freezing weather.
I finally finished my mystery book last night. I will give it to my sister when she comes this afternoon and let her read it. After she is finished, I have a growing list of people who want to borrow the book. I must be popular in some quarters.
Although I planned on listening to my CDs yesterday, that did not come to pass. Instead, I found that one of our local radio stations now carries a four-hour jazz show daily. It is hosted by one of my favorite musicians, Dave Koz. My ear will probably be stuck on that radio station each day until I get tired of that show, which will not be in the very near future.
