Yesterday evening the weatherman had predicted that we would have a few snow flurries overnight. As I watched TV during the evening, I looked out my patio window and saw the snow was coming down somewhat heavily. As the hours passed by, the snow continued to deepen. By the time I went to bed, we must have accumulated some two to three inches. After going to bed, I watched TV for some three hours. I paid for those hours this morning when it came time for me to get up, since I was extremely sleepy and not feeling very well. Not only do I have that kidney infection to contend with, but now I seem to have a cold to deal with as well. I had been invited to my sister's this evening for a chili dinner. I would like to go on, but I had not arranged for any transportation to get me there. That was just as well because I do not feel physically fit to go. After getting up this morning, I was so tired that after a short breakfast I went back to sleep for four hours. I just do not seem to have the strength and stamina than I usually do. Although I am supposed to go to my Relapse Prevention Group on Monday evening, I am not sure that I will be able to make it because of my illness. I would really like to go there, but the high temperature for the day is only supposed to be around 19°. My sister told me that I need to pay more attention to my health, and that I can always talk to someone at the mental health clinic about my absences at some future time. As of now, I am not sure what to do. Quotes of Self Image: “The greatest single cause of a poor self-image is the absence of unconditional love.” Zig Ziglar

Ummmm... Don\'t take your germs to a group that should avoid medicines? And don\'t catch any more from them or the rest of John Q. Public while your kidney infection is being treated? I thought I\'d heard that kidney infections take awhile before they\'re really gone.
Take care of yourself and make sure there\'s a you to go the meetings when you\'re better! Weeble hugs and MOJO.
hang in there Jim hugs-Stephanie
Sounds like your first priority right now is your physical health. Take the time to get well -- sleep as much as you want, eat healthy foods, deal with your MH issues when you\'re feeling better. When I\'m sick, I see it as an opportunity to just take good care of myself and not push myself to do too much. I love the chance to rest.
