OUCH!
My left leg is killing me again. It has not bothered me for a few days, but that seems to have changed overnight. When my leg felt as though the pain had gone away, I thought that everything was all right so I quit taking my medication for pain. I must have made a mistake. The first thing I did when I got up this morning was to take some more of the pain medication even before I got out of bed.
I have three appointments this week, which would not be too bad if it was not for the fact that I am not feeling too good. Tomorrow night I am going to my Relapse Prevention Group, Tuesday afternoon I am supposed to see my doctor, and Thursday afternoon I have an appointment to see my psychologist. I do not know how I am going to do it yet, but somehow I need to get to my bank before Thursday. I might have to try and get my sister to go there for me. If she is in a good mood, that will be no problem. If she is in a bad mood, that will be like pulling teeth. I guess I will find out later today.
While I was watching a poker game on TV last night, my "friend" from across the street came to see me. He is also the person who, until recently, sold drugs to me. I had told him before he came over that I was watching one of my favorite shows, which he knew in advance. I do it every Saturday night. While he was there, he asked if he could have some potato chips. I told him they were in a cabinet, and if he wanted some, he would have to get them himself. I did not hear any noise from him for about five minutes, which got me to wondering what he was doing. I went to the kitchen and saw him sitting in his wheelchair counting a large wad of money, which I assume he got from selling drugs. I was not too happy with that and went back to watching TV.

I\'m sorry to hear about your aching leg. What causes the pain? Good for you not letting your neighbor, former drug dealer, tempt you into doing something you know you shouldn\'t. You should be proud of your strength of character. -Becky
Jim Hope you feel better soon, Good luck talking with your sister hugs-Stephanie
Hi. Becky, if you will look at my entries on December 16 and 17th, you should get a good understanding of what is causing my extensive pain. Although I am feeling somewhat better, I believe that I still have a long way to go in order to get back to normal. I have an idea that my doctor is going to prescribe some physical therapy, which I think could help a lot. I will know after Tuesday. Thanks for all the concern and support I have been getting.
