12:37 PM This morning I had an appointment to go have the seat on my wheelchair examined.  I have been having some skin breakdowns and we needed to know whether the seat itself is causing the problem.  The cushion and the back on the wheelchair seat were both custom made to fit me.  That was almost three years ago, and the warranty is up, but the people running the company have said that they are more concerned about me than they are about the warranty.   For the past three days, I have been waiting for my nurse to come examine me, and for each of those days she has failed to show up.  She always had what sounds like a good excuse, but the bottom line is that she is not doing what she is supposed to do.  I am not sure what I am going to do about this.  I can call the company and make a complaint, but that would involve talking to the "Dragon Lady" and I do not especially want to do that.   There is not anything of much consequence going on in my life during this weekend.  I plan on taking it easy, coming on here once a day, reading a book, watching some videos, and listening to some music.  I intend for this to be a calm and peaceful weekend.   Quotes of Attitude: “When you believe you can-you can!”   Maxwell Maltz
