10 AM A few weeks ago, my psychologist asked me to send her copies of all my journal entries that I have made since joining DS last February.  I did not think it would be such a hard thing to do until I actually started rereading what I had written at that time.  However, the more I read, the more discouraged I became with some other things I had said so many months ago.   I had made a number of friends back then, who are no longer here.  That was depressing to me.  Most of them were very good supporters of mine.  The encouragement they gave me was outstanding, and it helped me to keep going forward rather than giving up.  (This is not a putdown to the supporters I have now, because they are awesome.  They stick by me through thick and thin, never wavering in their support of me.)   The range of topics that I have covered since last February has surprised me tremendously.  I usually keep my thoughts and feelings to myself, but now see that I have somehow opened up and shared these with my new friends.  Some of the issues I discussed were of a very sensitive nature, and I cannot believe that I actually brought them out into the open.   Part of me wants to call it quits and say that I have accomplished everything that I came here for.  I know that is not entirely true.  For every "can of worms" that I open, there seems to be another one beneath it.  I still have some fears about going on, but I know that in order to heal completely, I cannot stop the healing process at this time.  To do so would be the same as going right back to where I first began.  I need to go forward and finish what I started.   Quotes of Attitude: “I've never been poor, only broke. Being poor is a frame of mind. Being broke is only a temporary situation.”   Mike Todd

Well you know what some people go with a can \'o worms...

Go fishin\'...

So go and see what you catch that will sustain you. Teach a man to fish, and he might just heal.
