When I got up this morning just about the only thing I could see on the ground was snow.  It seemed like there were miles and miles of it with no end in sight.  The Rocky Mountains can be seen in the distance with nothing but snow piled on top of them.

I opened the door and stuck my nose out far enough to see if it was cold outside (that was a stupid thing to do, I know) and a blast of frigid air proved to me that it was indeed cold.  I did not go any further than necessary, but took a quick look around to ascertain whether the sidewalks had been shoveled enough for me to be able to get as far as the street.  They were, and that means I should be able to see my psychologist tomorrow -- assuming the sidewalks are cleared around her office.

The temperature is in the middle 20s and that is expected to drop to somewhere in the low teens tonight.  Tomorrow's high will be barely above freezing.  It is not exactly like sunny Florida.

My brother is driving down from Boulder tomorrow morning, along with one of his daughters and one of his grandchildren.  It has been quite some time since I have seen them, so I imagine that they have grown somewhat.  I hope that I recognize them.  (Ho, ho, ho.)  smiley-undecided.gif
