This is not the best day I have ever had, but it is not the worst one either. My nurse came to see me this morning and, as usual, we disagreed on a couple of forms of treatment for me. I wound up letting her think she won because I thought it would be the easiest thing to do. I had a quick breakfast and then took a bus and train downtown and went to the Social Security Office, where I obtained a proof of my income for the past year. I wound up waiting nearly two hours but at least I got someone who gave me some extra help. On my way there, I somehow managed to roll off of a sidewalk and onto a railroad track. That gave me quite a jar. My back has been hurting me ever since then, but I have medicine, which I intend to take before I go to my Relapse Prevention Group tonight. When I returned home, there was a message waiting for me from my nurse saying that she had come to see me (for the second time today) and kept knocking on the door, but I was not home. She is very persistent and said she will be back tonight. I called and told her I would not be home until eight o'clock or later. That did not seem to deter her one bit. I will be tired and worn out, so I hope that whatever she wants I can do it very quickly. By then I will have ridden two trains and six buses today. I better sleep well tonight because I have another full day tomorrow, and another one after that. This week seems like it will go on forever. “Sometimes we are limited more by attitude than by opportunities.” Anonymous

Hey, I know what you mean by \"letting the other person think they won the aruguement\"! I hate you hurt your back, I hope it starts feeling better soon
