I usually look forward to Sunday evenings just as I had done yesterday. That is when I listen to a two-hour syndicated jazz show on the radio. In addition to having the kind of music I like, I can usually calm my mind for the coming week. It also helps me relax. Although I enjoyed the music last night, something different occurred while I was listening to it. I began having flashbacks to my childhood. I started remembering going to places I have been away from for some 50 years. I saw myself being examined by doctors and nurses, and being in hospitals for operations. I also remembered being in the car with my father and mother, while riding home amidst the darkened night. Some of the memories were good, while others were bad. I could see and feel some of the abuse I received as a child. It was as if I was living through it all over again. This went on for a while until my memories turned to my adulthood and the abuse I received at that time. I saw, and seemed to feel, with stark clarity painful and embarrassing things that were done to me. It was as if I was watching my life being shown on a large movie screen in front of me. Why that happened last night is something I will probably never know. It seemed all too real for my tastes. To make matters worse, I had those flashbacks throughout most of the night and they are continuing today. I would like them to stop, but do not think I have any control over that. Jim, they aren\'t embarrassing, they are WRONGS. Big difference. Huge. You couldn\'t physically stop it, and it sounds like saying \'no\' or \'stop\' would have had no effect either, had you been able, and you weren\'t, and that\'s also not your fault. What happened to you happened in a different age, a different time, in society. You have a lot of brainwashing to overcome. You\'ll get there. You\'ve come a long way already. Weeble hugs.
