Sometimes life plays weird tricks on us.   Just when I think I have my own health care set up for the time being, something unexpected usually happens.  For example, look at my PCP who does my cooking.  She is a very nice girl and a terrific cook.  If she stays around long enough, I am going to gain a lot of weight.  I could not have gotten better person -- or at least that is the way I felt until last night.   She has begun acting a little bit nutty lately.  When she first started with me, she said she is going to join the Air Force and fly jets.  She later told me that she is blind in one eye.  I doubt if they would let her fly a plane with only being able to see in one eye.  Then she tells me that she has a glass eye.  She does not tell her friends about it, but they asked her to take it out and show it to them.  (If they did not know about it, how could they ask her to do this?)  She said she did it for them but it took her three hours to get the glass eye in and out.  That is unlikely.    Last night she told me that today is her mother's birthday.  She said she was going to take her out to dinner at Red Lobster.  I asked what she had gotten her mother and she looked at me and said a $223,000 truck.  I may be naïve now and then but not that much.  When she first started with me, she told me that she and her family were poor.  The night before last she told me where she lived, which turned out to be a mansion in one of the wealthier parts of town.   I am not sure what is happening here, but I definitely think she is starting to have some fantasies about her life.  I do not care if she has a dozen fantasies a day as long as they do not affect how she helps me.  If that should change for the worse, then I feel that I will have no choice but to replace her.  I hope that day does not come.   Quotes for Attitude:   “A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort.” Herm Albright
