UPDATE -- 6:20 PM There are times when I think that I must have been born beneath an unlucky star. The past twenty-four hours have been one of those times. Last night, I had the problem with the leader of the Relapse Prevention Group when he said something to the effect that he did not think there was anything he could do to help any of us. Today I had an appointment with a psychologist and a ride all set to take me to her office for a 1:30 PM session. My ride never showed up and I was unable to get through to the agency in order to find out why my ride was not there. Although my original ride was scheduled for 12:15 PM, it finally arrived here at 4 PM -- slightly late! I rescheduled my appointment with my psychologist for a day next week and explained my transportation problem to her. She suggested that I call my group leader and discuss his remarks with him. Once we made a phone connection, I told him I did not appreciate the comments that he had made and that I did not think they were very positive ones. He replied that he did not mean them to be positive. He tried telling me that some of the people were there because they had been ordered by the courts to do so. He said that he realized there were a couple of us who were sincere in wanting to get help. (I was placed in that latter category.) Next week he intends to ask the group members what they thought about the comments he made. (I do not think he will get much of a response from anyone.) I told him I would give the group one more chance, but if that did not work, I would be forced to try and find some other group that could possibly give me more help. He said if it came to that, he would help me because that is part of his job. I sure hope there are some lucky stars shining down upon me between now and next Monday night. "Twinkle, twinkle Little Star, how I wonder where you are?"

Ahhh... reverse psychology. Doesn\'t always work. But sometime it does. But you\'re not in the group it was directed toward so don\'t give up. Weeble Mojo and hugs to you.
Sounds like one big headache after another having to depend on others for transportation. I liked the way you handled things with your relapse therapist. Keep standing up for yourself and insisting on the treatment you deserve and need. Blessings, Dancer.
