6:30 PM   Life can be bewildering at times.  I think that is what has been happening to me lately.   I have a new cook and housecleaner who I consider great.  She does everything I need, when I need it to be done.  When she finishes working, she sticks around with me providing some companionship until the end of the time when she would normally finish.   As good as she is, I am confused about her.  On the one hand, she says that she is a senior in high school, and is doing this type of work to help her financially.  At the same time, she has told me that when she is done with high school someone has already given her a gift to Europe.  After that, she says that she is joining the Air Force, and wants to fly jets.  The only thing I really see wrong with this is that she is blind in one eye.  Since when does the Air Force let someone with only one eye fly jets?  I find that to be puzzling.   Today I saw my former CNA that I used to have with the other home health care agency.  He says he does not know what is holding things up as far as my getting back with them.  I have some doubts as to whether he is telling me the truth.  I also feel that the agency has been giving me the runaround.  Neither my phone calls nor my e-mails are being answered.  Something is beginning to smell fishy and it is not me.   I spent a good part of the day just trying to relax and not do much of anything.  I took a three-hour nap this morning, and then wasted some time playing a few games on the Internet.  (I lost all of them.)   Tomorrow I am going to watch some of the videos that I have been neglecting.  I also intend to finish a mystery book named "The Associate" that I can barely manage to put down each night.  It is a very good book by Philip Margolin, which I would highly recommend.   Quotes for Action:   “Positive thinking won't let you do anything but it will let you do everything better than negative thinking will.” Zig Ziglar

Hey, like the quote as always, and that is kinda confusing about the girl who cooks for you.
