12:50 PM In about an hour I be will be leaving to go join my anxiety group.  Things went pretty well last week, so I am feeling good today.  I got more accomplished last week that I think I have in quite a long time.   Today I am having a disagreement with a store that provides medical equipment.  About six weeks ago, my doctor wanted me to get an air mattress with a pump so that the mattress itself would pump up and down continuously.  He thought that would prevent me from getting some skin breakdowns.   Since that time, I have had three of the mattresses, and each one of them has turned out to be defective.  The first one had a tube from the pump to the mattress that was too short.  The second one worked for two or three weeks before just plain stopping.  The third one I got this past Friday.  It has a hole in it and the mattress barely moves up and down.   The man at the store called me and left a voicemail saying that the company had tried two of the mattresses and there was nothing wrong with either one.  He said that maybe he could talk me through it.  If I have a mattress with a hole in it what in the world, can he possibly say to make it right?   I have gotten so aggravated today that I have contacted my doctor's social worker in an effort to have her give me some help.  Maybe if she threatens to get a mattress from another company it might make a large difference in the attitudes of the people from this one.   (There have been a lot of new people joining DS recently.  Because of this, some of them have taken to sending chain mail to many people who would rather not have it.  I am one of these people.  With one or two exceptions, any chain mail I receive is automatically deleted.  If the new members will look at all of the rules and regulations here, they will see that Doug has requested that no chain mail be sent.  I think that speaks for itself.)   Quotes of Attitude:   “Ability is what you're capable of doing.
