UPDATE -- 6:55 PM   It looks like something is starting to go right in my life.  The girl who has been preparing my meals for me this weekend told me tonight that she is willing to keep working for me if that is okay with her agency.  I called the head of the agency a little while ago and relayed that information.  The woman told me that was fine with her and that she would contact this girl.   This is a somewhat unusual situation for me.  This girl believes in staying here for the whole two hours.  In addition to cooking, she makes my bed, changes my linen, will do my laundry, get my mail, and do my grocery shopping.   When she has finished everything I need her to do, I have told her that she can leave.  Each time I have tried that, she has refused.  She listens well, and she is compassionate and understanding.  Even though I have only known her two days, I feel as though my depression has decreased and my outlook on life has improved.
