This is one of those rare days, when I do not have much to say -- either good or bad. Only one caregiver showed up last night.  Until this afternoon, I had no idea what happened to the second person.  As it turned out, her mother was seriously ill and in the hospital.  This morning, two other caregivers got me up and in my wheelchair.  At just about that time, my nurse walked in and said that she wanted me in bed to examine me.  That meant another unneeded mini-event. I planned on going to the bank this morning, which is about eight miles from here.  When I finally got around to looking at the clock, I realized that I did not have time to eat my breakfast.  I "flew" out of the apartment and went to the bus stop as fast as my chair would roll.  It took three buses to get there, and three more to get back.  It was a hasty morning.  A new woman was supposed to start doing my cooking and doing myhousecleaning today.  She never showed up, and did not even call to say she was not coming.  I waited almost an hour before calling the office and reporting on her.  She called me later and said that she had gotten lost.  It seems to me that if she was able to call and tell me she had gotten lost, then she could have called to ask for directions.  I hope I have not exchanged one "loser" for another. I have my fingers crossed and I am hoping for a better day tomorrow.  Motivating Quotes:  “Nothing in the world can take the place of persistence. Talent will not; nothing is more common than unsuccessful men with talent. Genius will not; unrewarded genius is almost a proverb. Education alone will not; the world is full of educated derelicts. Persistence and determination alone are omnipotent. The slogan "press on" has solved and always will solve the problems of the human race.” John Calvin Coolidge

It\'s frustrating when people don\'t follow through. I also hope the change in caregivers turns out to be for the best! :)
