I finally had a very good weekend. It has been so long since that has happened that I wanted to pinch myself just to make sure it was not a dream!
After the turmoil of the past week, it was nice to turn my thoughts into another direction and take part in other activities. I spent a lot of time playing poker (not for real money) on the Internet while listening to jazz. It had a good calming effect on me.
Yesterday I watched an auto race on TV, which I thoroughly enjoyed except for the outcome. The wrong driver won. There is another race next Sunday, and I will hope for a better finish to it.
I also downloaded some new software so that I can try to make my own avatars. The instruction manual, which is supposed to be easy, is difficult to understand. I will have to be a mastermind to accomplish anything with this. There is still time to my trial period and I do not intend to give up this easily.
This is a busy week for me. I have five medical, or medically related, appointments in a five-day period. This afternoon I have my anxiety group. Wednesday morning I see a psychiatrist in order to get more medicine. Thursday morning I have a meeting with two people from another home health care agency in order to see whether or not that will be a better one for me. Thursday afternoon I will see my psychologist. Friday morning I am scheduled to see my doctor again. Friday evening I will collapse!
