My mood shifted from awful to good yesterday.  That was a pleasant surprise.  I spent most of the afternoon with my niece Kathy.  We went to a stage show in downtown Denver, which we both enjoyed.   Getting away from my apartment for about five hours enabled me to take my mind off my problems.  It was a nice relief.  I even picked up a small tan.  That came about when I had to sit in the sun for about an hour waiting for a bus in 90° temperatures.  It was probably what caused me to become dehydrated as well.   I spent a good deal of time this weekend thinking about how I can improve my life.  I came up with several ideas, so I decided to make a list and prioritize everything.  This way I will not have to do everything at one time.  That will give me some goals and enough time to accomplish them.   This afternoon I am going to my anxiety group.  If I had gone on Saturday, they would probably have known that I was in a very bad mood just by looking at me.  However, after the fun I had yesterday I think they will be surprised that my mood is so different than it was last week.   After getting home, I ordered a pizza, but was unable to eat much of it.  I listened to some CDs and then I heard my favorite radio show, "Chill with Mindy Abair."  She is on every week and plays all jazz music, which is my favorite kind.  Her choices rock! Life Quotes:    “The day after tomorrow is the third day of the rest of your life.” -- George Carlin
