I have good news and bad news today. This afternoon I am going to meet with one of my nieces and we are going to a stage show. She asked me to go with her a year or two ago but I refused and I think she took it personally. I think we both enjoy being with one another, so I am really looking forward to seeing her. After the show, I am sure we are going to have dinner together. It will not be at a ritzy place, but one where we can enjoy the food and talk with each other. The talking part may be a bit tricky for me, because there are things I do not want her to know and she is good when it comes to reading me. I can never fool her, so I do not even try anymore. The bad news is that I am very sure I have a bladder infection. This was caused by a procedure done by my new nurse yesterday. When my CNA put me to bed last night, she noticed some blood on me. She was very upset and left the room for short while. Upon her return, she made it very clear that she was angry with my nurse for the care she had given me. I was in pain most of the night and when I woke up this morning there was more blood on my sheets. I am sure I have an infection and probably a certain amount of internal bleeding. I have therapy appointments tomorrow and Tuesday, so I am going to try to wait until Thursday before seeing my doctor. I do not think he is going to be too happy with the care I am receiving. My CNA was locked out of my apartment this morning. She tried reaching the on-call person at her agency, but nobody answered. She is furious about this. After she knocked at my door a couple of times, and tried to get in through my windows, I managed to open the front door with a remote control unit that I use. Next week is going to be her last one working with this agency. She is not happy with the fact that I am going to be left in their hands. After I told her I was not satisfied with the agency and planned on getting another one, she said that she would look around and try to find one for me. I really believe she has good intentions and a conscience. Life Quotes: “You can't expect to hit the jackpot if you don't put a few nickels in the machine.” -- Flip Wilson

That is horrible, I hate having a bladder infection, you must feel horrible, I was out of work a week due to one I could not get rid of, and the bleeding sounds bad, I hope you start feeling better soon, and I really hope you enjoy going to see the show with your neice.
