It is only in the middle of the week and I feel completely worn out. Whenever I get a new home health care agency, I develop a lot of anxiety right before the change is made. This marks the second full day that I have been with the new company. Last night I made a temporary compromise concerning the time that I go to bed. I agreed to set the time at nine o'clock rather than 10. The CNA had asked me to make a 15 minute change, but I decided that since I was feeling so tired I would go ahead and make it one hour -- at least until I have developed some more energy. I spent nearly two hours this morning talking with someone from the company about what each person who came to help me was supposed to do. It is much more complicated than it sounds. At least I have some idea of who is doing what, and I have a file folder reminding me of much more than I can remember. I still believe that things are going to work out, but it will just take some time for all of us to get to know one another. After a fair amount of consideration, and talking with one of my nieces, I have decided to get a cat. It may not sound like a big decision, but it is for me. I do not like making changes in my life, but this is what one of my therapists recommended, so I have decided to give it a try. If it does not work out the worst that can happen is that my niece will wind up with another cat. LOL Life Quotes: “To me, life is like the back nine in golf. Sometimes you play better on the back nine. You may not be stronger, but hopefully you're wiser. And if you keep most of your marbles intact, you can add a note of wisdom to the coming generation.” -- Clint Eastwood

I am sorry that you have so much stress right now Jim. I understand what your going through.
That is a big change. Bound to cause a lot of stress. I love cats -- they always lift my spirits. Blessings, DD.
Hey hon! Get some extra sleep and just take it easy - I have been real worn out lately too, indulge yourself a little! Order out, get a movie and just chill out. Or grab a book and read all day in between napping. I think a cat is a great idea - they can be annoying, but having a little warm fluffy someone to love you actually feels great. Much Luv!
