I am as nervous as a cat on a hot tin roof.   My new caregivers will not start until tomorrow but my fears have already begun today.  Something is bound to go wrong -- it always does.  (That is positive thinking.)   A nurse called me this morning and wanted to come out to see me today.  I had already told the agency that I could not see the nurse before six or seven o'clock this evening because I had a medical appointment.  The woman at the office seemed to understand my situation but the nurse apparently does not.   I always get jittery when I start with a new agency.  I never know what to expect from new people.  Although there should not be any surprises, I have learned to expect the unexpected.   There seem to be a million butterflies zipping around my stomach, so I am going to cut this entry short today.  I hope to be feeling much better by this time tomorrow.   Marriage Quotes:   “Marriage works best for men than women. The two happiest groups are married men and unmarried women.”  -- Gloria Steinem

Gee Jim, I hope your okay...you usually have left a message by now. I know new caregivers make things harder. I am worried and hope they showed up for you.
