Too many things are happening all at once...   This morning I was dealing with the Medicaid part D program.  Nothing new has come of that, probably because I have been unable to make any telephone connections.  What is the use of having a phone number if you are not going to answer the phone?   I received a phone call from the new home health care agency that I had selected.  I was notified that they would start working with me Tuesday morning.  That is good news for me.  On the other hand, all hell is going to break loose when my current CNA hears about that.  He will just have to get used to it or not.   This afternoon I received a letter from another government agency telling me that I was going to be placed into another Medicaid health program unless I notified them otherwise.  I did call them and said that I wanted to remain with my current doctor and anyone else I chose.  That did not seem to be any problem.  They asked for my Medicaid number.  As I started to give it to them, the woman said that was not my number.  That is news to me.  If it is not my number whose number is it and why have I been using that number for more than five years?  None of this makes sense, but that is the government.   My life seems to be turning into a three-ring circus.  There are just too many things happening all at once.
