This is a very hectic day... My current CNA went to the new agency that I am supposed to join in order to take a look around. He came to me and said that it was filthy. I am not sure whether or not he was telling the truth. He also said that he would like to go with me wherever I went. Initially, I had no problem with that. But I talked with someone from the new agency this morning and she told me that the CNA had promised them that he would put me to bed at 10 o'clock every night. I know for a fact that he cannot do that. As well as being my caregiver, we have also grown to be friends. But friendships and busness don't always go hand-in-hand.He is one of the additional reasons for my going to another agency. I don't feel that he gives me the proper time or amount of care that I deserve. He cuts corners. There are times when I need something, but he says he will do it tomorrow. But tomorrow never comes. How can I say "no" to him without hurting his feelings? He just called, but I did not answer the phone. All of this is starting to get to me again. I am thinking about telling him that my case manager has said whoever helps me MUST spend an hour and a half with me each time he or she comes. I think it would stop him even though it would be a lie. Should I do this?
