I am getting there... This morning I feel much better. My life started improving after I called my case manager very early yesterday morning. I received her approval to change agencies. Immediately after that, I notified my present agency of what I was doing. No one there really argued with me since I already had the approval to go ahead with the change. The management wished me well and told me to let them know if there was anything they could ever do for me. In the afternoon, I went to see the new psychologist. She was older than I would have liked, but we seemed to hit it off right from the start. Following my initial session, she asked if I thought we could work together. I said yes, and she agreed. I will see her again next Tuesday. When I got home later in the afternoon, there was voice mail for me. It was my CNA calling. I returned his call and he jokingly said that I had been hiding something from him. He had been told by his agency that I was leaving the company. He sounded genuinely regretful that I was leaving, and promised that he would continue helping me in various ways. By the time I finished with dinner (food always helps) I was feeling much more relaxed than I had for several days. I felt as though a ton of weight had been taken off of my shoulders. I played three new CDs, leaned back in my chair, and fell asleep in no time at all. Most of the stress that I put up with all week was quickly leaving my body. As far as I know, my nurse is the only person remaining to be told that I am leaving. I am not looking forward to informing her about that, but I will be doing so later today. The weekend is slowly coming and so is my sanity. It has been a rough week, but I am getting there... Hey Jim, your daily thought is something I have always said. And I think it is true. Anyway glad you are feeling better about your decision. It\'s seems to be difficult to change even when it\'s in our best intrest. Sounds to me that your new doctor is a good match too. love tcat
