8:15 AM   A week ago, I made a promise not to do any more complaining about my caregivers in this journal.  Unfortunately, that promise is going to be broken today.   My CNA, who puts me to bed, keeps coming here earlier each night.  If he gets here much earlier, he might as well not even get me up in the mornings.  I am fit to be tied.   I have firmly decided to get another health care agency.  My niece has a friend who used to work with the adult protective services, and she is going to ask him if he can be of some help in finding a good agency.  Someone from my anxiety group is also going to help me.   At the same time, I am planning on leaving; I also have a guilty feeling.  The nurse who helps me (and who really cares about me) has been spending a lot of time trying to find another therapist for me.  I am already feeling guilty about letting her help me, and then telling her that I am going to change agencies.  To me, that seems a bit unloyal.   Looking at things from another point of view, I am definitely not getting good care anymore.  Complaining will not get me anywhere -- it never has.  The management of the agency stands behind their employees even if what they have done is wrong.   That is all for this morning's complaints.   A Daily Thought:   “The reasonable man adapts himself to the world; the unreasonable one persists in trying to adapt the world to himself. Therefore all progress depends on the unreasonable man.” George Bernard Shaw

Hi Jim, you not actually complaining you are expecting to be treated human and it is a fair request. As far as the nurse, don\'t worry about it she will understand and be glad that you are taking care of you. Hang in there for now and good luck with new services.
