5:10 P.M. This is amazing! I cannot believe that I have had two good days in a row. I won't promise anything, but I am going to try and make it three. I had a very good doctor's visit today. I think I mentioned in one of my other journal entries that it felt as if my heart had been beating fast (faster than normal) and that I had been somewhat concerned about that. My doctor said it could be a number of things. He gave me an EKG, which turned out to be normal. He also had some blood drawn so they could do a thyroid test. I will not have the result of that for a week or two. If the heartbeat starts beating fast again, he showed me a couple of things that he thought I could do to try to stop it. We talked about the fact that my one-to-one therapy had stopped at the mental health clinic. He said that my therapist told him that she was there primarily to work with people who had problems with alcohol and substance abuse. She told him that we were beyond her area of expertise. That was why she had stopped seeing me. I think it would have made everything a lot easier if she just told me that to begin with. Why beat around the bush? I am going to continue with my anxiety group until it is finished in another seven weeks. At that time, my doctor would like to see me move over to another section of the clinic where I can be treated for depression as an outpatient. That was all I ever wanted to start with. I have something "special" planned for tomorrow, but I will keep that a secret for today. It is something I have not done for quite a while and I need to get back into the habit of doing. Tonight I am hoping for the best.

Glad you are having a good day Jim. You were due for one.
Weeble goes YAAAAY!
Oh two good days in a row! Yay Jim! You inspire me, my friend. I\'m going to work on the same. Don\'t be surprised if the rapid heartbeat is stress-related. I went through that last year and wore a holter for 24 hours and it turned out to be just stress. Best to have it checked as you are doing, but stress can trigger so many things. Keep on pushing for those good days!
