8:10 AM I had a good session at the anxiety group yesterday. Usually I do not get too much out of them, but yesterday it was different. I think the members have a better understanding of me and various aspects of my life. One of the group members works in the home health care field. She offered to read through my list of one hundred agencies and help me weed them down to a reasonable number. I took her up on her offer, and we are going to start next week before the meeting. We had a brief talk after the meeting and I had a very good feeling about her. This morning I am going to see my doctor -- my primary care physician. Although I only think I have one or two problems, he wanted to see me this week. I know that he wants to stay on top of things, especially my depression. If told my nerves that he is willing to work with me on a one-to-one basis once or twice a month in his office until I can find a therapist. I spoke with my sister last night. She had talked with her daughter about my mental health situation. Her daughter suggested that we might have to get together and the three of us would go to the clinic and meet with some of the staff there in order to find out why I cannot receive trauma treatment. I told my sister that I would think it over, but that I did not want to do that until I had completed my work with the anxiety group. Several people from DS and either sent me hugs or commented on my journal entries. I will try to answer every one, but it is going to take a while.
