How To Get Busted!!!

Thanks to all who made suggestions concerning the problems I am having with the people helping me.  They are in the process of being busted.  smiley-smile.gif

After thinking everything over, I decided that I could not let things go on any longer.  Procrastination is the same as doing nothing -- at least for me.

I contacted the home health care agency and made complaints about my caregiver and my PCP. smiley-yell.gif   Before the end of the afternoon, I received a letter from the President of the agency who said she was in the process of looking into everything and someone would contact me before the end of the day.  I received one phone call and one e-mail, and the clinical care supervisor said that she would like to come see me sometime next week.

My CNA apparently lied to me when he said that someone had been fired.  As it turned out, that person quit her job.  He also lied when he told me that my nurse was going to be fired.  The agency president assured me that my nurse was "superb" and that she had told her that a couple of weeks ago.

Something did stink (sniff, sniff) and it was not me.  My CNA has been with me for more than three years.  I hate the thought of him leaving and having to be replaced with someone unknown to me.  However, I am receiving worsening care.  If getting new people means getting better care, then I think I will have to go for it!  smiley-cool.gif

A Daily Thought:

“Within each of us lies the power of our consent to health and sickness, to riches and poverty, to freedom and to slavery. It is we who control these, and not another.”
