I did not get a good night's sleep last night. Something my caregiver said just before I went to bed made me so angry
that I stayed awake almost all night long. For a while he was joking around, then said that the home health care agency was getting ready to fire my nurse. After that, he refused to say anything further about the subject. I am not sure if he was telling the truth or if it was just part of his joking. My nurse has been helping me so much, especially in trying to find a new therapist, that I would really hate to see her leave.
The way I feel this morning, makes me want to write the company and let them know that if the nurse is fired that I will be going to another agency. I know that the loss of one person to a accompany will not make that much difference, but I think that I would feel much better having spoken my mind.
Anger does not help my depression. It just makes it even worse. This is no way to start a weekend.

\'Depression is anger turned inward\'. The best way for you to handle it is to start looking doe new services and have a back-up plan to implement fast, if you do indeed wind up having to release your current caregivers. Having the plan will give you the security to go PPPTTHHBBB! to the old company. ; )
Weebles out.
Your caregiver shouldn\'t even be saying things like that to you. Talking about a fellow employee is gosip and most companies have zero tolerance for it these days. You might want to mention that to your service. What about a new caregiver? It almost sounds like this one is trying to make you angry. Please don\'t let them succeed. And take care, love tcat
I agree with tcat. I would talk to the company about what is going on. Something stinks here, and it\'s not you, sweetie! Blessings, DD
Thank you for your suggestions. I have just sent an e-mail to the vice president of the company, along with the clinical care supervisor, informing them of what has been occurring. I have pretty much told them that I am upset with what has been going on, and that they either have to clear it up or I will be going to another agency.
I gave them some examples of what is happening, and said that if they needed more, I could provide that too.
You are right, something definitely does stink here, and I am pretty sure I know what -- or who -- it is.
They have to do something about this because I cannot stand it much longer! Jim
I hope you get answers Jim
