Monday, July 16, 2007 Looking back through my journal, I see that the way I felt last week was awful. My mood can be improved, and I intend to do that this week. I do not know why, but I was unable to get any sleep Saturday night. When I got up yesterday, I took some medicine and tried to get to sleep for at least a few hours because I was supposed to go to a birthday party later in the day. I slept for about two hours, but that was it. Two hours sleep just will not do it for me. The birthday party was for my niece's husband and one of my great nephews. Their birthdays were actually one day apart, and this year both of them were out of town, so yesterday the party was designated as one for both of them. I got home around nine o'clock and was dead tired. I went to bed, turned the TV on, and started watching The Forensic Files. I wanted to see the end of it, but sleep apparently overcame me. The next thing I knew, I heard a blaring noise that seemed to be coming from the direction of the TV. I was too sleepy to even look and see what was happening. I went back to sleep, but was awakened one more time by the TV. I took a quick look, saw that it was one of those Info Commercials, turned the TV off and went back to sleep. Today I felt good when I got up. I hope that nothing will ruin my day, but with my fantastic luck, something will. Later this afternoon I am going to another session of my anxiety group. I am not sure whether this is helping me are not, but at least it is better than doing nothing. One hour at a time, Jim, one hour at a time. You have more than the average person to deal with on an hourly basis every day. Be patient and kind with yourself. And listen to some Peter White - I really enjoy that music recommendation from you!
k t w with mojo and hugs
I am glad that you are feeling better Jim.
