Saturday, July 14, 2007 -- 7:25 AM Since there has been a mix-up in my Medicaid funding, I spent a good part of the week filling out about sixteen pages of forms for the county government.  Yesterday morning I took all of the forms to be processed.  As my luck would have it, only four out of eight documents were approved.  The remaining ones were turned down primarily because the copying machine made them too large.  I have an arrangement with my sister so that she will take the documents back in on Monday because I have a medical appointment. Following that visit, I knew that I would have to wait more than an hour for my ride to show up.  I decided that since it was such a nice day, I would wait outside.  That turned out to be a mistake that I would later regret.  After an hour of waiting, some people from inside the building came out to try and convince me to go inside where there was air-conditioning.  They were also worried that I would become dehydrated.  By this time, it was nearing 90°.  However, being the hardheaded person I am, I told them I would be perfectly okay.  When I got home, I realized that I was dehydrated.  I think that I drank enough fluids that afternoon and evening to drown.  I hope that I have learned my lesson, but really doubt it. I am going to do very little today.  My mood has been deplorable within the past week.  I need to chill out.  A Daily Thought: “Much of the stress that people feel doesn't come from having too much to do.
