Wednesday, July 11, 2007 Evening Eddition   Things went nicely at the mental health clinic today.  For some strange reason, I felt calm and cool, and not the least bit angry with my therapist.  She noticed it, and even commented that she was surprised.  I told her that when she originally told me that my therapy with her was ending, I felt that I was being kicked out.  Today she said that was not the case, and I was welcome there any time.  She did say that if I had felt as if I were being kicked out she could understand how I would have been hurt and angry. I think the most important thing was that we both came away from the session peacefully.  She is going to try and get the names of some other therapists I might see if I decide to leave the clinic.  We talked briefly, about my entering the trauma group.  She said there were only three persons in it, and that they were all girls.  I said to count me out because I would not feel comfortable in that setting.  She said that the therapist in charge of the anxiety group had sent her an e-mail expressing her concern about my suicidal inclinations.  After some questioning by my therapist, I agreed to call either my nurse or the other therapist if I intended to buy some sleeping pills.  (I figured that was the only way I was going to get out of the office without being sent to the hospital.) I am feeling better tonight and no longer have any negative feelings toward my therapist.  We ended on a nice note.
