Saturday, July 7, 2007 6:45 AM I am considering getting a cell phone, and can use all the help I can get. One of the reasons I do not go out very much is that I am afraid of getting stranded somewhere. When I was younger, something like this would not worry me at all. Those were the days when I was fearless. I have gotten some insecurity, as well as a lack of self-confidence. I feel that a cell phone would give me some added protection. I need some help in deciding the best type of cell phone for me. The ideal one would be a Bluetooth, however, I use hearing aids, and I do not think they make any Bluetooth cell phones that are hearing aid compatible. Whatever I get needs to be lightweight and easy to use. Preferably, it would also have a built-in speakerphone. It does not have to be the most expensive one on the market, but I do not want one that is made with paperclips either. If anyone has a suggestion please let me know. I sent you a message here yesterday but had a problem with my connection and it did not post. pick two of the largest companies in your area. Explain your needs, make sure the phone does not cause problems with a chair. Ask about roaming coverage and charges. This adds up but most offer a flat rate a month to avoid these fees.
Hope that helps
